Medical Representative (Sales)

Qualifications Needed:

 

1. Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, science, or any related field.

2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales / medical sales.

3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

4. Pressure Handling: Ability to work effectively under pressure.

5. Sales Skills: Demonstrated strong sales abilities.

6. Transportation: Own a car with a valid driving license.

 

Responsibilities and Objectives of the Job:

 

1. Daily Field Visits: Initiate daily field visits to clinics, hospitals, labs, and medical centers.

2. Relationship Building: Establish robust relationships with healthcare facilities, including physicians, private hospitals, labs, teaching hospitals, community hospitals, and offices through effective one-on-one sales presentations, group discussions, and participation in medical meeting exhibits.

3. Client Communication: Make and receive phone calls from prospective clients, providing detailed descriptions of INNOVIA BioBank services using informative tools.

4. Brochure Distribution: Ensure brochures are strategically placed and distributed in all targeted facilities and centers.

5. Medical Conferences and Expos: Attend all relevant medical conferences and expos as per management requests.

6. Contract Appointments: Arrange appointments with clients for contract signings at their convenience.

7. Hospital Presence: Ensure all INNOVIA BioBank contact numbers are available at hospitals (reception, doctors, secretaries, and nurses).

8. Payment Collection: Collect advance payments from clients upon contract signings.

9. Emergency Protocol: Inform the collector, nurse, and office in case of emergency deliveries.

10. Daily Reporting: Fill out daily reports on physician, clinic, client visits, meetings, and calls.

11. Monthly Targets: Achieve monthly sales targets set by INNOVIA BioBank management.

12. Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly meetings at BabyCord Center to organize and plan the weekly schedule.

13. Contact Information: Collect and maintain contact numbers of physicians, secretaries, and nurses.

14. Compliance: Adhere to all corporate compliance policies and guidelines.

15. Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as needed.
